Nursing Dresses: Lindy Bop x Inna Petz @ohlafemmeblog

Shy of one year on from launching our Nursing Dresses category in October 2018, we thought what better way to celebrate the anniversary than with a refresh article. If you haven’t done so already, check out our first article ‘Nursing Dresses: Top Picks for New Mums’, here.

We invited confessed “do-it-all-wifey”, glam girl mama and blogger babe Inna Petz from SoCal blog ‘Oh La Femme‘ to sample breastfeeding suitable styles old and new. Inna gives her honest review of five of our top nursing dress styles from swing, to wrap, tea dress and more. Keep scrolling for our quick-fire Q&A with Inna and her tips for living a joy-filled life with two under two.

Lindy Bop: What’s your favourite Lindy Bop breastfeeding friendly style, and why?
Inna: This is hard because I like them all so much, in their ways. But if I had to choose it would be the ‘Constance’ Sage Daisy Sprig Wrap Dress. The material is lovely, and the print is so unique and feminine, also I think a wrap dress is very flattering and fitting for any stages in one’s life.

Lindy Bop: What’s your top tip for new mums?
Inna: Motherhood changes us for the better, it’s a beautiful and sanctifying process, but one thing I always hold to is maintaining myself in the best way possible. I still like to do all the things that make me feel like “me”. Like taking a shower, doing my makeup and dressing up all feminine, even on daily errands. It’s these things that keep our identity as mothers and honestly keep me sane. I may not get everything done in fashionable order, but it happens throughout my day! So, try to keep up with things that make you still feel like “you” in the least unselfish way!

Lindy Bop: Lastly, do you have any nursing hacks/tips you can share with our readers?
Inna: Honestly, stick to your personal style! Don’t feel like you must completely change your style and wardrobe or invest in items that are only fit for the nursing days… go beyond that… and invest in items that you can wear while nursing and after! And that’s exactly what Lindy Bop has to offer. I admire brands such as these because it’s very practical.
